Defend Iceland’s bug bounty platform is a software where ethical hackers simulate the methods of cyber criminals when searching for security vulnerabilities. At Defend Iceland, vulnerability search takes place 24 hours a day, all year round, in all customer systems that are visible from the internet. When security vulnerabilities are detected, they can be fixed and prevented from being exploited for cyber attacks.

Preventive measures

More than 95% of the security vulnerabilities found by our ethical hackers were previously unknown. This precentage can be attributed to the fact that the ethical hackers simulate real attacks and find new vulnerabilities in the custom-built software infrastructures that our customers use.

Customers receive detailed technical proof of each vulnerability and practical recommendations for remediation. They have access to their vulnerability reports through the platform, a summary of all found security vulnerabilities and the status of their processing

Customers pay the ethical hackers rewards for proven vulnerabilities

Building a community fund

Customers pay a 10% flat fee on top of every paid security vulnerability which goes directly into the fund
