What happens when I report?

When you report a vulnerability, it is received by a staff member of Defend Iceland who immediately puts the notification into process.

When you report vulnerabilities, you contribute to improving Iceland's security culture and become an important link in the nation's digital civil defense.

This form does not authorize or encourage any form of unauthorized access, testing, or exploitation of systems. It is not an open invitation to hack Icelandic organizations, infrastructures, or systems. Instead, it provides a voluntary and responsible reporting channel for individuals who, in the course of lawful and unintentional discovery, identify security vulnerabilities affecting Icelandic organizations, infrastructures, or systems.
